Hi, I’m Denise - flower grower, designer, and the heart behind Roots & Thread Co. This business was born from a love of growing cut flowers and a deep-rooted passion for textile design. With a background in textiles and fashion merchandising, I’ve always been drawn to the beauty of color, texture, and natural artistry - something that both flowers and fabric so beautifully share.

As I step into my fifth season of growing specialty cut flowers, I remain inspired by the way flowers bring people together - not just through their beauty, but through the memories, emotions, and connections they create. Some of my most cherished childhood moments are tied to flowers: tucking pansies into my hair, breathing in the lilac-scented breeze from outside my bedroom window, and feeling the simple joy of being surrounded by nature’s quiet magic. Flowers remind me to slow down and embrace the sincerity of the present moment, and I hope to share that same feeling with others through my work.

Roots & Thread Co. is a boutique flower farm and design studio, specializing in seasonal, garden-inspired florals. Our flowers are grown with care on a quarter-acre plot, without synthetic fertilizers, ensuring that every bloom is as natural and vibrant as possible.

At this time, you can find our flowers exclusively as wrapped seasonal bouquets at Greiser’s Coffee & Market from April through October. I can’t wait to share the beauty of each season’s harvest with you!
