Roots & Thread Co. creates artful, garden-inspired florals for weddings and intimate events throughout Connecticut and the surrounding area.

Our work is rooted in seasonality, texture, movement, and an appreciation for flowers that feel a little wild and unexpected. During the growing season, we incorporate flowers and foliage from our own garden alongside thoughtfully sourced blooms from local growers and trusted floral partners.

We approach each wedding from a designer’s perspective — taking inspiration from your venue, color palette, overall atmosphere, and the season itself to create florals that feel cohesive, expressive, and completely at home in their surroundings.

From bridal bouquets and table flowers to ceremony installations and statement floral moments, each element is thoughtfully composed with an emphasis on natural movement, interesting texture, and an editorial sensibility.

Rather than recreating inspiration images flower-for-flower, we use them as a starting point to understand what you’re drawn to and interpret that vision through the Roots & Thread aesthetic.

Investment

Wedding floral design is customized for each celebration based on season, floral selections, scale, installation needs, delivery, and setup.

Full wedding floral design typically begins at $2,500, with smaller celebrations and à la carte floral needs considered on a case-by-case basis.
